Enter the parameter for CATALOG_TYPE
E-grid live-CD



Super Node Configuration


1. Go to Shell

2. Run Command: < sudo bash >

3. Run Command: < egrid-conf >




4. In the main menu choose option 2: < Super Node >




Select the option to set the parameters manually




Set the globus_hostname parameter




Enter the value uml-2.egrid.it




Insert value for SITE_NAME




Insert value for SITE_MANAGER




Insert value for SITE_VERSION




Insert value for CLOSE_SE




Enter the parameter for CATALOG_TYPE




Enter LFC




Enter the parameter for DEF_VO_NAME




Enter the value for BDI_HOSTNAME




Enter the value for BDI_PORT name




Enter the value for MAIN_SE_FQH




Enter the value uml-2.egrid.it




Set the parameter for REPLIC_SERVER




Insert the value for REPLICA_SERVER




Set the parameter MYPROXY_SERVER




Insert the value for MYPROXY_SERVER




Insert the value for RB_SERVER




Insert the value for RB_SERVER




Set the parameter for GRIDICE_SERVER




Try to configure GRIDMAP file




Choose to configure MANUALLY







Build CONFIGURATION FILE




Enter YES




Press ENTER




Configure VIRTUAL ORGANISATION

If you want to add another virtual organisation (different from default VO), follow the steps illustarated below.







Enter the name of VO_ORGANISATION




Enter YES







Do not clean EXISTING CONFIGURATION




Configure WORKERS NODES
















Enter add and enter the name of node3




This is the final display




Some commands we used and services started after supernode configurtion

It is possible to start/stop ALL the SN services using the command:
egrid-start-stop-sn-serv.sh
You can start/stop each of the services manually by e.g.
/etc/init.d/globus-gatekeeper start



















Finally, you need to apply the patch from www.egrid.it/bugzilla associated with bug 48.
